Welcome to First Presbyterian Church,
a community for all ages who,
through spiritual growth, Bible study, and prayer,
discover their potential for glorifying God
and empowering others
to serve God in the image of Christ.

Souper Bowl of Caring on Sun., Feb. 7 to support Haiti and Loaves & Fishes

The Souper Bowl of Caring is a nationwide, ecumenical & interfaith movement launched by a Presbyterian youth group in 1989.  On Souper Bowl Sunday, hours before the pregame shows begin, folks bring food items or cash to their worship services.  The recipients of the offering are chosen by the local congregation and the amount collected is reported to the Souper Bowl office for a national tally.  The distribution for our congregation this year will be cash to relief efforts in Haiti and food to the local Loaves &Fishes Food Pantry.  We hope you'll join us in sharing the gifts God has entrusted to us with others.
